Apply to join the Pacific Islands Roundtable

PIRT welcomes new member organisations committed to nature conservation in the Pacific Islands region. Applications are reviewed by Heads of Members at the next Annual Meeting.

What you'll need before you start

  • A short organisation profile PDF (1-4 pages).
  • Your mission statement and a paragraph on how your work aligns with the Pacific Islands Framework for Nature Conservation.
  • Two referees from existing PIRT members or partner organisations (name, role, email, phone).
  • A signed authority letter from your authorised signatory (PDF, max 5 MB).

You can save a draft at any point and return to finish.

Membership criteria

Applicants should be active in Pacific nature conservation, align with the Framework, and be able to contribute to PIRT working groups or regional collaboration.

How long does it take?

Applications are reviewed by the Secretariat and relevant working group leads. Most complete applications receive a response within 4-6 weeks.
